The Achimota Trust UK (OAA-UK) donates books to the New Library

The Achimota Trust UK, the charity arm of the OAA-UK, at the request of the school in 2016, provided reinforced and replacement doors as well as burglar proof windows to secure the new library building. It also installed 25 computers for research and e-learning. These computers are being used following the provision of Internet access and e-learning software by the 72 year group.
The trustees then launched an appeal for funds to purchase books for the library. The response was very encouraging with Akoras mostly in the UK, USA and Ghana donating generously to the Achimota Trust. The trustees wish to thank all the Akoras including the 90year group and the OAA87 year group(USA chapter) for their support. Today, we have the pleasure in donating 600 books to the library. More books and other resources will follow very soon. Thank you.
