Re-launch of the Achimota School Endowment Trust Fund

The Board of Trustees would like to express its most profound gratitude to all Akoras and the General Public who graced the occasion of the re-launch of the Achimota School Endowment Trust Fund (ASETF).

The event was held at the Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences Auditorium on Thursday 24th May 2018, at 6:00pm. Although a weekday quite a number of you took time of your busy schedules to attend the event.

The School Choir and the OAA Choir were present to grace the occasion with their songs and the School anthem.  Over 125 Akoras and friends of Achimota School were present. Though attendance was disappointing, the event itself was a success.

The re-launch event was to create awareness and serve as a reminder of the existence of the Trust Fund. It was also to raise funds together with NDK Capital Ltd who have been appointed as Managers of the Fund .   The target is Gh¢ 5Million within two (2) years.

Akora Joel Nettey, the Vice-President of the OAA in his appeal for funds urged all Akoras and Corporate bodies to contribute towards the on-going projects including the Science Block, upgrade the School Clinic, install Solar Power and the complete overhauling of the Sewage System.

The Trust welcomes and appreciates monthly, quarterly, yearly contributions/donations for any period of time or for a life time - together we can become the “living water to a thirsty land”.

He also took the opportunity to remind all Year Groups to pay their annual Levy of Gh¢500 in support of the Fund.
