 The Achimota School Hospital initially served the staff and students of the School. As  the community surrounding the School grew, the Ministry of Health took it over and turned it into a hospital for all those who lived in the area. It soon could not give the students and staff the attention they deserved and a clinic was set up in the School. The 1973 Year Group has made two donations and the 1980 Year Group made one donation to the School Clinic.

As part of their 10th Anniversary celebrations, the OAA Class of 2008 organized a 'Mentorship and Career Guidance Session' for the current form 3 students of the school.
